About
Florentina owns Skin Concepts, an esthetics practice in Hempstead, Long Island, and works there as the esthetician. Her training started in Italy, with three years at the professional institute of esthetics in Treviso. She later logged 600 hours at a Levittown, NY school, the Long Island Nail and Skincare Institute, and another 80 hours at the Institute for Laser Medicine in Westchester, NY. She spent six years as a spa director and esthetician, where she developed facial and body protocols, trained newer estheticians and oversaw the spa's day-to-day operations. She is certified in the Helena Pahava Method facial, which is offered at Skin Concepts. Her treatments include acne and pigmentation work. She has years of clinical practice and research behind her skin care approach. Many of her clients are women in middle age who are frustrated with their skin, and some have been coming to her for years. She adjusts routines as their skin changes.
