Felix Cohen, M.D., FACOG

Felix Cohen, M.D., FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist and the Medical Director of Cohen Medical Practice. He also directs gynecology at Gramercy Surgery Center in New York. His earlier work includes positions within the Mount Sinai Hospital System, the New York Health & Hospitals System and the Catholic Hospital System. He served as a Global Scholar at St. George's University, where he gained international medical experience. He focuses on advanced hysteroscopy for fibroids, polyps, infertility and uterine scarring, and he has experience with complicated IUD and implant insertions and removals. He offers fertility care from pre-conception counseling through ovulation induction and treatment. In his office he performs annual gynecological exams, colposcopy, hysteroscopy, ultrasound and biopsies, as well as advanced minimally invasive surgery. He volunteers as a physician in New York City hospitals with the NYC Medical Corps and the NY Emergency Disaster team, and he serves as a medical advisor to several fertility organizations and mental health and wellness groups. He was featured in The Aesthetic Guide discussing nitrous oxide for managing patient anxiety during gynecologic procedures. He provides gynecologic care in English and Russian. He has been named a Top Rated New York Gynecologist by ZocDoc since 2016 and has received the Highest Promise in the Medical Sciences and Top Teaching Resident awards.
