Federico Calce

Federico Calce is the Master Stylist and Director of Federico Salon. He worked in his family's salon chain in Milan before moving to New York City in the early 1980s. He was later appointed Artistic Director of the salon at Bergdorf Goodman, and about five years afterward launched his own namesake salon, Federico. His fashion work includes styling models for runway shows by Dolce & Gabbana, Oscar de la Renta, Fendi, Valentino and Armani. He was celebrity stylist at NYC Olympus Fashion Week in 2005, has been the official hairstylist of Couture Fashion Week since 2007, and has responsibilities for the annual Grammy Awards and New York City Fashion Weeks. He was the official hairdresser at the Drama Desk Awards and was chosen by Japanese developers to partner on a heat treatment that straightens hair for up to ten months. Swiss engineers also chose him to work with them on Jessetter, a hair perm, set and straightening system using pure oxygen. Clients have included Britney Spears, Eva Longoria, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones. He also leads a team of international stylists for in-room services.
