Farhad Anoosh

Farhad Anoosh founded Anova Medical Spa in Huntington, New York, and is a board-certified surgeon. His surgical work covers bariatric, general and aesthetic medicine, including minimally invasive and robotic procedures. He is recognized by Intuitive Surgical as a robotic surgery proctor, and he has worked as a clinical instructor of surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He has performed thousands of procedures, more than 1,000 of them gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, gastric banding and revisional operations. He trained first at New York Medical College, where he graduated with honors and completed surgery training. A fellowship in minimally invasive bariatric surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center followed, then a liposuction and body sculpting fellowship through Sono Bello. Further training covers aesthetic medicine and non-surgical technologies, including laser, radiofrequency and weight-management protocols. He leads body contouring at Anova Medical Spa and oversees the medical weight-loss program.
