About
Fabio Scalia is the Artistic Director of Fabio Scalia Salons and founded the business, which operates two salons in New York City, one in SoHo and one in Brooklyn Heights. He has been cutting hair since he was 12. His training includes the Aldo Coppola, Vidal Sassoon and TONI&GUY academies, and he spent time living in France and England to study French and British hair styling techniques. He has also worked at top European salons from Milan to Monte Carlo.
His expertise includes hair growth and trichology. He covers trichology and morphology in his work and takes clients' behavior and facial features into account during consultations. The salon describes him as known for modern artistry, charisma in the chair, and technical precision with scissors.
He also designed the FS Collezione line of luxury hair brushes, which debuted in 2022.
