Evie Johnson

Evie Johnson is a certified trichologist and hair stylist at the Bowie salon. She holds Certified Trichologist status from the International Association of Trichologists (IAT) and sits on the association's Board of Directors. She has founded Evie Johnson's Hair Solutions and was a founding member of Stuart Edmondson Hair Loss and Restoration, which builds custom solutions for men and women experiencing hair loss. Alongside her hair work she is a salon owner, platform stylist and educator.

She trained at Vidal Sassoon, Pivot Point and Activia, and holds the Master Stylist title on Mizani's International Developmental Team. Her work centers on hair shaping, color and treatment. She teaches beauty professionals about styling techniques, current hair shaping trends and custom hair units. She was the first Certified Trichologist in the US to teach a classroom-facilitated Hair Practitioner's Certificate Course. More than 75 students have completed and passed the course exam under her instruction since 2014.

Her work has appeared in hair magazines and hair product ad campaigns worldwide. She has styled celebrity and recording artist clients, including Deborah Cox, Debra L. Lee, Chrisette Michelle, Laurie Ann Gibson, Trey Songz and Tasha Smith. She also works with everyday clients at the salon.
