Evelia Godinez is the senior stylist at Sweet 200. She began cosmetology school in 2004 at Paul Mitchell Academy, and started her training with a team in Beverly Hills. She spent nearly eight years working in New York City, joining Blow Pro in downtown Manhattan in 2009. By 2011 she was working with Fabio Scalia at his Brooklyn Heights flagship, and after more than five years at his salon she became a senior stylist.

Her training at Fabio Scalia's salon included education from luxury hair care brands, including exclusive training. Her specialties include European haircut form and styling, scalp and hair analysis, and modern fashion-forward styling. She adapted the Deva Curl Cut method for curly and textured hair. In 2015 she assisted session stylist Orlando Pita at New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2015, on work for the Carolina Herrera and Michael Kors runway shows.

She keeps an active client roster in New York City and travels there quarterly.
