Eva Taub

Eva Taub is the owner and treating specialist of Eva Taub Skin Care, and she performs every treatment herself. She has more than 40 years of hands-on experience with dark and Black skin, and she began treating unwanted hair about forty years ago. She practiced for decades in South Florida.

Her work centers on melanin-rich and dark skin. She performs electrolysis and laser hair removal, and she works with hormonal facial hair, dark marks, pigmentation, PCOS, and hormonal skin and hair changes. She also treats hidradenitis suppurativa. Clients who have already tried laser often come to her for electrolysis on the remaining white, gray or light hairs.

Her early training was hands-on technique built through years of repetition rather than a weekend certification, and she also trained in laser alongside electrolysis. She uses insulated needles and technique calibrated for melanin-rich skin in electrolysis, and she selects laser equipment and settings for each patient. She also teaches estheticians and skin care professionals through the Eva Taub Academy.

She works through a consultation first to identify the cause of a concern before recommending a plan, and she adjusts mandelic acid pigmentation protocols case by case based on how each client's skin responds. She welcomes women and teenagers dealing with hormonal facial hair, PCOS, Black skin concerns and ingrown hairs.
