Eugene Zappi

Eugene Zappi is a board-certified dermatologist at the New York office, with board certification in both internal medicine and dermatology. He earned his medical degree in Buenos Aires, Argentina, then completed a dermatology residency in Dallas and an immunodermatology fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He holds board certification in dermatology and in internal medicine.

He is an attending faculty member at the New York University Medical Center Skin and Cancer Unit, where he leads a clinic focused on chronic wounds and ulcers. He is a past president of the Dermatologic Society of Greater New York. His research centers on lupus and other rheumatologic skin diseases, and that work has earned him several awards. He is fluent in Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.
