Estela Urias

Estela Urias founded Stellar Body & Beauty, where she owns the business and works as a massage therapist and licensed esthetician. Her massage career began in 2004, and at the business she pairs massage with skin health care. She trained in clinical massage therapy at Bryman College San Bernardino, finishing in 2004, and later trained at Coastline Beauty College in Hemet, listed as 2019. She also completed online education through ME University between 2010 and 2020, along with more than 200 hours of continuing education and more than 500 hours of continuing hands-on education. Her certifications span neuromuscular and deep tissue work, Swedish, myofascial release, prenatal, lymphatic drainage, trigger point, reflexology, hot stone, assisted stretching, the Streto Method and cupping. Before going independent, she worked 13 years for a national massage franchise, joining its first Southern California clinic in 2005 as one of 18 in-house therapists hired. There she performed more than 55,000 massages and was named employee of the month, and she was nominated several times for therapist of the year. She rose to therapist mentor and then lead therapist in 2018, training new and existing staff, and she helped build an injury prevention and self-care program for affiliated service providers. She left corporate work in 2020 to work as a solo practitioner and business owner. Clients who want body wellness and skin health together are her focus. She asks for feedback during treatment to shape each plan, and she sees clients on a routine schedule, adjusting pressure, style and technique from one session to the next.
