Erwin J. Bulan, MD

Erwin J. Bulan, MD, founded the practice and practices there as a board-certified plastic surgeon. He holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, and a medical degree from the SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse, where he earned the school's Dean's Letter of Commendation two years running and was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha. His residency in integrated plastic surgery was completed in the Division of Plastic Surgery at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, DC.

His work covers facial rejuvenation, body contouring and breast surgery. Procedures he performs include facelifts, nose surgery, eyelid surgery, chin augmentation, liposuction, tummy tucks, breast reduction, breast lifts and breast augmentation. Rhinoplasty is an area of extensive experience for him, and he specializes in male cosmetic procedures and in working with men considering plastic surgery. Botox and Juvederm injectables and laser skin treatments are also part of his offerings. He has decades of cosmetic surgery experience.

In 2001 he took part in the Luz Del Sol surgical mission, which treated people in underserved communities in the Dominican Republic. The Plastic Surgery Education Foundation awarded him a $10,000 grant for research on large-volume liposuction. He has spoken on medical topics at conferences in the United States and Canada, and in 2004 he published an article on breast augmentation in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He holds active memberships in professional plastic surgery associations. He was named a Super Doctor from 2014 to 2021 and received the City's Best for Milburn award in 2021.
