Erin Galvin, R.N.

Erin co-founded Urban Allure and is a registered nurse licensed in California by the California Board of Registered Nursing. Her early nursing work was in cosmetic dermatology, followed by pediatric oncology and bone marrow transplant care. Over twenty years in the field, she trained at UCSF Medical Center and went on to study laser physics, skin and hair anatomy, treatment protocols and laser safety. Laser hair removal is offered for all skin tones using the GentleMax Pro, and IPL photo facials are available for rosacea, sun damage and pigmentation. CoolSculpting handles body contouring, and injectable options include Botox, Daxxify, Juvederm and RHA fillers. Medical-grade peels, DiamondGlow facials and individually built skincare plans are also offered. She has specific experience treating darker skin tones and transgender patients who want gender-affirming aesthetic work. When a filler is planned, she may suggest a skincare routine if that is clinically suitable. She will decline any treatment she feels is wrong for a particular patient and sets out realistic timelines for results. Patients can ask for her when booking, depending on availability.
