Erick Orellana

Erick Orellana works as a hair colorist at Erick Orellana Hair in Beverly Hills. He studied at a beauty school in Arizona, finished his training there, and then returned to Los Angeles. Next he spent two years as head assistant to colorist Jonathan Gale at the John Frieda Salon. After that he built his own clientele while working at salons in Los Angeles. Color correction is his focus, which means changing hair from one shade to a chosen target color. His clients have included Audrina Patridge, Chris Pine, Hayden Panettiere, Emma Roberts, Gal Gadot and Kristen Wiig, and he has also worked with film directors, producers and social media influencers. For film and photography shoots he plans color around lighting, shading and the shooting location. With everyday clients he considers skin tone, eye color and how much upkeep the client wants, aiming for color that looks natural on the person while keeping the hair in good condition through the change.
