Erica Cervantes

Erica Cervantes is the owner stylist at Mane Way to Dye in Huntington Beach, with about 10 years of experience behind the chair. She assisted for about three years before working as a stylist, first at several salons in Carlsbad where she assisted owners and attended weekly training. She trained in cosmetology at a community college, passed the state board exam afterward, and is certified in three methods of hair extensions.

Her specialties are vivid color, color corrections and blonding. She works with hair extensions, including wefts, hand-tied methods and K-tips, and has worked with wigs. Her creative work includes festival braiding, styling performers for their shows, and collaborating with local artists and creatives on editorial and creative shoots. At Neihule Salon in downtown Los Angeles she styled hair and makeup for industry professionals at Grammys and Oscars events, and she has also worked behind the scenes at both.

Since the pandemic she has been at Studio Fifty Fifty in Huntington Beach as an independent stylist, and she also works at House of Lange in Irvine. She enjoys working with a diverse range of clients and is interested in teaching and sharing her skills with other stylists.
