Emily Mitchell

Emily Mitchell is a registered dietitian on the medical team and holds a license as a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN). She is a board-certified specialist in sports dietetics (CSSD) and a certified diabetes care and education specialist (CDCES), and her background is in sports nutrition. She has worked as Sports Performance Dietitian for the LA Galaxy and as Director of Sports Nutrition for UCLA Athletics. Her work has included MLB and NFL athletes, and she has consulted for the Buccaneers, Clippers and Lakers. She currently supports Loyola Marymount Athletics. Earlier, she was an outpatient dietitian at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Head Dietitian for the Center for Fetal Medicine. She holds a bachelor's degree in Dietetics and a master's degree in Exercise Science, with an emphasis in Sports Psychology. She has also completed more than 400 hours of yoga training.
