Emilio Santos Capote

Emilio Santos Capote joined A&L Family Policlinic as a Doctor in Medicine. He graduated in 1971 from the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences of Havana, Cuba. He specialized in Oncology-Gynecology in Cuba. He has been licensed as a Doctor in Medicine in Florida since 2006, and that same year he was also licensed in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. He spent more than 30 years as a physician-specialist in Cuba. He moved to the United States in 2005 and practiced at San Gerardo Hospital in San Juan, Puerto Rico, from 2005 to 2014, then began practicing in Florida in 2014. His areas include integral wound treatment, oncologic-gynecologic surgery, colposcopy diagnosis and early diagnosis of gynecologic cancer. He belongs to the American Medical Association, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Puerto Rico, and two Cuban professional societies, one for oncology and one for gynecology and obstetrics.
