About

Emilia Moore is a licensed esthetician who trained at The School of Botanical & Medical Aesthetics, graduating in 2017, and opened Skincare by Emilia in 2018. Through SBMA she is certified in facials (natural and medical), skin analysis, skin anatomy and physiology, aromatherapy, waxing, makeup, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion and chemical peels.

Her specialties are acne, sensitive skin and healthy aging. She is a Certified Acne Specialist with Face Reality, having completed its specialist training in 2019, and she completed MBK Acne Detective training in 2020. Her other training includes Nano Infusion through ReZENerate (2019), microneedling through Herbal Skin Solutions (2020), brow glaze lamination through Supercilium (2020), eyelash lift and tint through Lash Stuff (2019), and Barbicide sanitation and disinfection (2020). Between 2017 and 2018 she also completed product knowledge training for Image Skincare, Sanitas and Skin Script RX.

Before choosing products or a homecare plan, she tests skin for sensitivities and acne type. She introduces products slowly to avoid irritation and dehydration, adjusts acne regimens gradually as skin adapts, and talks through possible breakout triggers such as foods, medications, cosmetics, stress and certain skincare ingredients. She selects each treatment and product line herself, using only products she would use on her own skin, with the goal of clients leaving feeling cared for and confident.
