Elisha Chauhan

Elisha Chauhan works as a hair stylist, trainer and competition judge. She is an award-winning stylist known for creative and advanced bridal hair looks. She started as an independent stylist in 2018 and built a client base in the Seattle area, and she holds a Licensed Instructor and Cosmetologist license in the state of Washington.

Her training began in India with an Advanced Diploma in Hair Designing & Beauty Therapy from Sangeeta Chauhan's Institute of Hair & Beauty in 2013, followed by a Diploma NVQ 2 in Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy from IHB. In 2013 she completed the OMC Bronze Diploma, described as India's first teacher trainer program, and she trained for three months with Emma Ekman. She also holds advanced certifications in hair cuts, styling, coloring and designing from OMC, and in ladies creative hairstyles from Rose Lee. Earlier in her career she interned with Microsoft and later worked with SAP Labs India in technology roles.

She competed internationally from 2013, starting at the Asia Cup in Taiwan, and represented India in OMC championships through 2020. Those events included Malaysia, Germany, South Korea, France and the OMC Online Championship, and she trained with ten mentors from ten countries while competing. She earned a Prestige Diploma and a Bronze Medal in OMC competitions. For the North America Hairstyling Awards she created three competition looks using peacock-inspired color palettes and pre-colored extensions. She has judged for OMC, AIHBA, VTCT (UK) and IndiaSkills, served as both subjective and objective jury, and has trained competitors, including Pradeep Ved, who won a medallion for excellence at WorldSkills 2015 in Brazil.

Away from the salon chair, she founded Hair and Beauty Tour LLC, an online education business launched in 2019, a blended learning and gamified platform for hair and beauty that has trained more than 10,500 students. She also co-owns Elianna Bridal Wedding Services and is CEO and founder of La Vivo Cosmetics, a salon product manufacturer and distributor. Her work with the All India Hair & Beauty Association includes serving as a national trainer, juror and organizer of the AIHBA India Awards.
