Elgin Charles

Elgin Charles owns and runs the salon in Beverly Hills. He is known for innovative hairstyles and techniques and has developed a signature line of luxury hair care products.

He studied biology and chemistry at St. Mary's University. Before hair, he worked in finance at Smith Barney and left that career in his early twenties to pursue hair.

His client list has included Gabrielle Union, Serena Williams, Drew Barrymore, Joan Collins, and The Kardashians, among others. He has written the top-selling book Believe It, Conceive It, Achieve It and a second book, the memoir By The Way. He appeared in Chris Rock's documentary Good Hair and the Style Network's Split Ends, and has been a guest on Oprah, The View, The Talk, and Wendy Williams. He also starred in the VH1 docuseries Beverly Hills Fabulous and founded DIBS, the Diversity In Business Summit, an annual event.
