Elena Gorbunova

Elena Gorbunova founded Beauty Medica and works there as a physician assistant (PA-C), delivering medical aesthetic treatments at the Boca Raton practice. Before moving to the United States, she spent 13 years practicing as a physician in Russia, where she also earned a medical degree. She later earned a Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of New England and holds board certification as a PA-C. Her medical aesthetics practice in Florida dates to 2006, and she has more than 20 years in U.S. medical aesthetics within more than 33 years in medicine overall.

When planning neuromodulator treatment, she assesses the face both at rest and in motion before recommending a product and where to place it, and she takes facial proportions into account. For thread treatments, she first evaluates tissue descent and explains what threads can and cannot do. Initial in-person consultations are complimentary.

She gives her patients frank advice alongside treatment.
