Elana Darrus

Elana Darrus owns Elana Darrus Makeup & Hair and works as a makeup artist. She started her career in 1980 at Neiman Marcus, where she trained with Chanel, Lancôme, Estee Lauder and Clinique. After Neiman Marcus she worked at Marilyn Miglin Model Makeup, and she has also studied theatrical and television makeup.

Her work has included CNN and the Chicago Lyric Opera House, as well as MAC Cosmetics and a period as key artist at a hair salon. She now specializes in freelance bridal makeup artistry and has worked full time with brides for the last decade, after about 30 years as a makeup artist.
