About
Elaine Abich is the owner and artist of Evolve Med Ink. She came to paramedical tattooing after 22 years in a previous career and began working as an independent paramedical tattoo artist. Her training includes 3D areola and nipple restoration tattooing at Ink Boutique Houston, along with work with experienced paramedical artists and a prosthetics course.
Her work centers on scar camouflage and 3D restorative areola and nipple tattoos. For each scar she assesses the color to decide between neutralizing and matching, then builds a custom formula as close as possible to the client's skin tone. Coverage is built up over several sessions and adjusted to the skin tone, scar and goal. She also performs LI-FT saline PMU lightening and matches Bare prosthetic colors from skin tone photos and reference images.
She works with breast cancer survivors, people healing from surgery and people who want to camouflage scars, and welcomes clients from anywhere, including those traveling in. She holds a Body Art Practitioner License from the California Department of Public Health and is licensed and insured.
