About
EJ works as a hair stylist at RCD Studio on Larchmont in Los Angeles. He has been working professionally in hair since 2002 and joined RCD Studio in 2010. He first trained at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Los Angeles, then spent time at Di Pietro Todd in San Francisco before returning to Los Angeles.
His credits include television and live-event work. He styled Dana Devon and Mark McGrath on the show Extra and worked on the Victoria's Secret fashion show that aired on CBS. Music videos he has styled include Janet Jackson's So Excited and Metro Station's Seventeen Forever. He also did makeovers for MTV's Made, has worked on fashion look books and LA Fashion Week, and served as Paula Abdul's personal hairstylist.
He concentrates on editorial, print and special-event work, including the Oscars, the Emmys and the Grammys, and he has styled brides and grooms on their wedding days. His signature look is voluminous, alluring and relaxed.
His training includes study at Bumble and Bumble Hair University in New York City and Toni and Guy in Newport Beach, classes at the 901 Academy in Los Angeles, and a master makeup class taught by celebrity artist Scott Barnes in West Hollywood.
