Effie is the founder of Just Be - The Beauty Room and works there as a hairstylist, makeup artist and photographer. She has about 20 years of experience in hair and makeup, and her specialties are haircuts, color and photo shoots, with razor cutting techniques as a particular focus. She trained at Bumble and Bumble University in NYC, attended workshops at Nick Arrojo's hair academy, Toni and Guy, Sebastian, Redken and Wella, and has traveled around the US to train with photographers Lindsay Adler and Sue Bryce. Early on she worked as the in-house makeup artist for Clarins cosmetics in Boston while attending cosmetology school.
