Dylen Starr

Dylen Starr is the Creative Director of House of NonTradition, also listed as Matriarch. She is a licensed cosmetologist with more than 15 years in the salon industry and trained at the Aveda Institute. She has also been an educator for several hair companies and brands, working with hairstylists across the United States to build their technical skills and confidence. Her editorial work has been published, and she has worked backstage at Fashion Week. She works with the artistic team Beauty Underground and develops avant-garde collections for international hair shows. She has been nominated three times for Avant Garde Hairstylist of the Year and once for Hairstylist and Haircolorist of the Year, and peers nationally and internationally recognize her technical precision and creative edge. She is known for signature blonding services, described as high-impact transformations with low commitment, and for blonde results on hair others have turned away. She is also an extension specialist who works with Easi Hair Pro and its hand-tied installation method.
