Dvora Dawson

Dvora Dawson is an owner and stylist at Salon by the Cove in Solana Beach, California. She has worked in hair for over 20 years in the San Diego North County area, and for 14 years she owned and ran City Style Hair in Solana Beach.

Her training includes advanced education with Vidal Sassoon, Goldwell and Matrix color, and she has worked with Framesi, Schwarzkopf and Redken color systems. Extensions are a major focus: she specializes in waterfall beaded row and invisible beaded extensions, and she holds certifications in several methods and brands, including a Great Lengths Hair Extension Specialist certification she has held for 15 years. She also had extensive training with George Michael of Madison Ave in long hair, and advanced training in Yuko thermal straightening in Los Angeles.

For the past six years she has mentored in the San Diego Apprenticeship training program. One client review on the site calls her the best stylist in the business.
