About
Dre is a bi-coastal hairstylist and mentor who works between a salon on the East Coast and a salon on the West Coast. She has been a hairstylist since 2016, which makes eight years in the field.
She trained at The International Institute of Cosmetology in Wethersfield, Connecticut, and is licensed in connection with that school. Her specialties are vivid coloring, balayage and IBE hair extensions, and she also works in cutting, extensions and styling.
Alongside salon work, she offers one-on-one apprenticeships for hairstylists on both coasts, in which a trainee works directly with her. She has also styled wigs for touring Broadway shows. Her clients range from well-known names to everyday clients, and she takes time to work out the result each client wants and to explain how to care for their hair at home.
