Dr. Zubowski

Dr. Zubowski practices as a plastic surgeon in Paramus, New Jersey, where he established the Robert Zubowski, M.D. Center for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and operates as its surgeon. He brings more than two decades of surgical experience, including cosmetic work. He previously served as associate director of plastic surgery at The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood and as an associate professor of plastic surgery at New York Medical College. He is the plastic surgery specialty director of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Alumni Association and holds an adjunct staff role there. He finished a general surgery residency at New York Medical College and a further residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, where he trained and is now an alumnus. He is board-certified in plastic surgery and general surgery and holds a Certificate of Advanced Education in Cosmetic Surgery from the American Board of Plastic Surgery. For medical weight loss, he works with each weight loss injection patient to determine which of the two treatments fits best. He has received city, state and national Top Doctor awards, has been a repeat honoree, was named Bergen County's Top Doctor for 2022, and received the Patient's Choice Vitals Compassionate Doctor Award. Castle Connolly listed him among Top Doctors in New Jersey from 2004 to 2018 and in the New York Metro area from 2007 to 2015, and US News and World Report included him among the Top 100 Plastic Surgeons in America. He speaks regularly as a cosmetic surgery expert and has appeared on national and local television, including The View and FOX News. He co-founded the New Jersey chapter of Image Reborn, a non-profit support group for breast reconstruction patients. He also works pro bono with Interplast, performing reconstructive surgery for children born with birth defects in developing countries.
