Dr. Yaw Donkoh

Dr. Yaw Donkoh is the Medical Director, Founder and CEO of Niwa Aesthetics & Wellness, and leads the practice's medical team. He is a physician and a double board certified cosmetic surgeon. He holds a primary certification in anesthesiology and interventional pain management, and a certification in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. He is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Society of Liposuction Surgery.

His practice focuses on minimally invasive and cosmetic procedures, and he has a particular interest in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. He has trained extensively with well-known cosmetic surgeons. He also has over 20 years of experience as a strength and conditioning specialist and holds the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) credential.

He founded Niwa to provide patients with the best therapies available. He is on-site with each patient and hands-on, performing treatments himself or overseeing them. He evaluates each patient's needs, recommends which treatments to combine, and determines candidacy for Vaser liposuction.
