Dr. William Yates, M.D.

Dr. William Yates, MD, FACS, practices as a physician at the practice, with a focus on hair restoration surgery as well as critical care and trauma surgery. He earned a B.A. in Medical Science from Northwestern University in 1983 and an M.D. from Northwestern in 1985, completing the university's Six-Year Honors Program in Medical Education.

His surgical training started with an internship at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC, in 1986, and he completed a general surgery residency there in 1990. In 1991 he completed a critical care and trauma fellowship at the University of Maryland Hospital.

He holds board certification from the American Board of Surgery, the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery, and in critical care and trauma surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery and the American Medical Society. BTL Aesthetics has certified him in Emsculpt Neo and Emsella.
