About
Dr. Wendy Wong serves as the physician leading aesthetic treatments at W Med Spa. She is board-certified in family medicine and has many years of family medicine practice in the greater Washington, D.C. area, along with years of aesthetic medicine experience.
She holds a Fellow designation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and belongs to the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. Her practice centers on facial rejuvenation, injectables, hair reduction and body contouring. Using devices, she removes unwanted hair, targets isolated fat areas and treats pigmented lesions on nearly any part of the body.
For color correction, she uses the elos Plus system from Candela and adjusts the energy wavelengths to each patient's concerns. Before recommending it, she assesses each patient's skin condition to determine whether color correction is appropriate.
