About
Dr. Wayne C. Lee founded the practice, where he also serves as medical director. He is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon certified by two boards, and he holds both M.D. and F.A.C.S. credentials. With more than twenty years in practice, he takes on reconstructive, cosmetic and medical aesthetic work involving the face, breast and body.
He earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2000 through the Medical Scholars Program. Following that, he completed a general surgery residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago and a three-year plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at the University of Florida. He has also pursued advanced training abroad in micro and plastic surgery techniques. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, belongs to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
His facial procedures include facelifts, neck lifts, eyelid surgery and facial fat grafting. For breast patients he performs augmentation, lifts, reductions, revisions and complex reconstruction, including reconstruction following cancer. He also performs or oversees non-surgical treatments such as Botox, dermal fillers, laser treatments and body contouring. He has surgical privileges at 11 hospitals in the Tampa Bay area. Among his teaching roles, he guides general surgery residents at both HCA Florida Trinity Hospital and AdventHealth Tampa. He created the Return 2 Fitness program, which assists patients in resuming physical activity after surgery in a safe way.
