Dr. Walter Tatch

Dr. Walter Tatch serves as Medical Director of the practice. He is a board-certified maxillofacial surgeon and is listed as a doctor in facial plastic surgery, with more than 20 years in private practice.

He trained in dentistry at the University of California, San Francisco, where he received awards in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He then completed a residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Externships and continuing education in advanced maxillofacial and facial cosmetic surgery round out his training.

He is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and he holds fellowship status with the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Academy of Cosmetic Laser Surgery. He has lectured at local societies and professional meetings, and his published work appears in the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and in The American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery.

His clinical work covers facial implants, genioplasty, OrthoFacial and jaw surgery including corrective procedures for function and appearance, facial cosmetic surgery and contouring, lasers and radiofrequency skin treatments, and neck and cheek liposuction. He is known for his expertise and patient-centered approach. Ideal patients arrive knowing what they want from the procedures offered.
