Dr. Vlad Crutcher

Dr. Vlad Crutcher, DMD, started The Dental Standard and holds an Illinois dental license. He earned his DMD at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Assumption College. He finished a general practice residency at Loyola University Medical Center, with hospital-based training. Early in his career, he worked in PPO, HMO, Medicaid and traditional private dental practices. His work covers biomimetic dentistry, cosmetic and restorative care, smile design and TMJ/TMD treatment, with bite analysis and comprehensive planning. Specialties include composite veneers and bonding, same-day crowns, airway-focused dentistry, laser dentistry, and facial aesthetic treatment with Botox, PRF and neuromodulators. Continuing education at the Pankey Institute covered whole-mouth dentistry and TMJ-related conditions, and advanced training with Spear Education is ongoing in biomimetic, TMJ, cosmetic and facial injectable work. He is an attending dentist at the Special Needs Adult Clinic at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and is a former president of Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity. Memberships include the American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry. He takes digital scans instead of traditional impressions and is open to patients who want to talk through how he might help them.
