About
Dr. Boyer serves as Medical Director at the Mesa location of LaVida Medspa and holds NMD credentials. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Biology from the University of Texas at El Paso. In 2003 she finished a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences, and in 2006 she earned a Master's in Acupuncture from the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture. Her clinical experience spans more than 20 years. Her focus areas are longevity medicine, functional wellness and advanced aesthetics, with work in bioidentical hormone therapy, advanced oxygen therapies, pain management, medical weight loss and aesthetic care for the face and body. She has trained in non-surgical laser and skin-rejuvenation technologies and has logged thousands of clinical hours in lasers, injectables and non-invasive cosmetic procedures. Certifications include BOTOX Cosmetic, DYSPORT, JUVEDERM, RADIESSE, SCULPTRA and thread-lift procedures, along with skin cancer detection from the University of Queensland. She was formerly adjunct faculty at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, teaching minor surgery and emergency medicine. She is an active member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, the International Peptide Society and the American Academy of Ozonotherapy.
