Dr. Vera Singleton

Dr. Vera Singleton founded the practice and practices as a naturopathic and functional medicine doctor. She holds an ND from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, where she received the graduating class Leadership Award and assisted the college's Research Chair with research on Astragalus later published in The FASEB Journal. Her other degrees include a B.S. from the University of Michigan, double majoring in pre-med and biopsychology, and an MBA from Wayne State University. She has practiced privately for more than 12 years. Earlier, she was a project manager with the US Department of Labor's MBA Fellowship program, bringing experience in operations, process improvement and strategic human capital management. In 2015 she created and hosted a natural integrative fertility conference, and since 2018 she has sat on the Board of Directors of Naturopathic Doctors in California. She founded the nonprofit Asante Regenerative Care in 2021 and Potentia Med, a functional aesthetics medspa, in 2023. Her work covers hormones, digestion, skin, hair and sexual wellness. Her approach begins with clinical testing, including thyroid, neurotransmitter and adrenal function, followed by a consultation; from there she builds an individualized program and adjusts it monthly. She has been featured on KPFA radio, KRON4 and in numerous magazines, has served as an expert panelist at women's health summits, and writes the practice's blog.
