Dr. Ulysses Scarpidis

Dr. Scarpidis has been Director of Plastic Surgery at Scarpidis Aesthetics since 2015 and is board-certified in plastic surgery. His focus is liposuction and body contouring, plus cosmetic procedures for the face and body, and his practice centers on current cosmetic treatments. He holds a Doctor of Medicine from Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Yeshiva University, a Master of Public Administration from NYU Wagner School of Public Administration with a concentration in health management, and a Bachelor of Science with Honors from New York University. He trained through a plastic surgery residency and fellowship at Hackensack University Medical Center and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he was Administrative Chief Resident in plastic surgery. Earlier positions include Director of Plastic Surgery at The Dermatology and Plastic Surgery Group from 2013 to 2015, a private practice under his own name from 2008 to 2012, Clinical Instructor at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (Lower Manhattan), Associate Adjunct Surgeon at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, Clinical Assistant at Hackensack University Medical Center, and Visiting Attending at The Mount Sinai Hospital. He belongs to the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. As a clinical investigator he has presented guidelines on the safe use of laser liposuction at national conferences, and he has authored and co-authored work on facial aging and facial rejuvenation surgery. He won the New Jersey Society of Plastic Surgery Clinical Poster Competition Award in 2007 and 2008 and the Patriotic Employer Award from the Office of the Secretary of Defense in 2014.
