Dr. Tyler Darnell

Dr. Tyler Darnell, who founded Limelight Medical Aesthetics, practices as an emergency medicine physician in the emergency department in Portland, where he is board certified in emergency medicine. He graduated from Mercer University School of Medicine in Georgia and completed his residency at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and Research Institute in Virginia.

Alongside his emergency work, he has trained locally and abroad in aesthetic medicine. He is drawn to aesthetics and cosmeceuticals and pairs that interest with hands-on procedural skill and careful assessment. He is known for natural-looking results and brings a detailed grasp of facial anatomy to each plan. He oversees clinical protocols across the practice with the aim of meeting safety and efficacy standards. He is a member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and the Aesthetic Multispecialty Society North America, and he chooses seasonal specials with Logan Paszek. Before wrinkle relaxer treatment, he goes over a pre-submitted questionnaire and consent forms with the patient.
