About
Dr. Tobie Beckerman is an OB/GYN and integrative gynecologist who founded the practice. She has provided general obstetrics and gynecology care in the Washington, D.C. area since 1988. She earned a B.S. in nutrition research with honors from the University of Maryland, went on to George Washington University School of Medicine, and trained in obstetrics and gynecology through a residency at George Washington University Hospital. In 2009 she set up a gynecology practice that works outside the conventional busy-office model. Her recognized areas include menopause management and genetic screening for breast cancer. She treats women at every age and stage of life, and along with gynecologic care she offers cosmetic treatments and pelvic floor and vaginal health therapies. Publications have recognized her compassionate approach to medicine.
