Dr. Thomas Spalla

Dr. Thomas Spalla is Chief Medical Officer at SomaCell and works as a facial plastic surgeon. Before opening his own practice, which is now in Manhattan, he spent more than ten years in private practice and academic medicine across the Philadelphia and South Jersey region. In academia he helped grow the Division of Otolaryngology at Cooper University, helped set up its otolaryngology residency program, and worked as a curriculum developer for Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. He has published more than a dozen papers, written several book chapters, co-authored a textbook on facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, and lectures nationally on facial plastic surgery and otolaryngology. His surgical aesthetic work includes brow, face, neck and lip lifts, blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty, otoplasty and facial implants. Non-surgical treatments offered include SomaCell, deep laser resurfacing, chemical peels, PRP, stem cell treatments, Botox and fillers. Reconstructive procedures cover septoplasty, functional rhinoplasty, facial trauma repair, Mohs skin cancer reconstruction and scar revision.
