About
Dr. Tara Akunna founded Renue Dermatology. A board-certified dermatologist who holds the MD and FAAD credentials, she received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2018. Her dermatology training took place at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and was finished in 2022.
Her clinical work centers on melanin-rich skin and skin of color, with a particular focus on women with melanin-rich skin. She also works on hair loss and integrative skin wellness. Her work focuses on inclusive skincare for every patient.
