Dr. Susan Lin, M.D.

Susan Lin, M.D., founded MD Laser and Cosmetics and serves as its Medical Director. She has been practicing medicine since 1991. She has more than 35 years of experience as a gynecologist. Her clinical focus covers women's health, anti-aging and aesthetic medicine, including feminine rejuvenation, along with the practice's Oncology Aesthetics services: hair restoration after chemotherapy and skincare for recovery from radiation.

Her training includes a degree from Boston University School of Medicine in 1991, fellowships at MD Anderson Cancer Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and training at Kaiser Permanente Oakland. She previously served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the UCSF School of Medicine. She is an Expert Reviewer for the Medical Board of California and a Strategic Board Member at MIT's McGovern Institute for Brain Research. She also sits on the boards of several local nonprofits that support women and young people. Across U.S. and international filings, she holds several patents in lash and hair growth technology, and she contributed two chapters to the ninth edition of Harry's Cosmeticology.

At the clinic, she personally performs dermal filler, Botox and Dysport, laser hair removal, PRP and ThermiVa treatments, and she conducts private ThermiVa consultations. Treatment plans take into account each patient's medical history, anatomy and goals, aiming to restore lost volume while keeping features recognizable. She oversees the clinical protocols for laser hair removal and the HCG weight loss program. She has written a guide on vulvovaginal atrophy in menopause and has been featured in Radiant You, a wellness magazine for women.
