Dr. Susan Hennessey founded Hennessence Aesthetics & Wellness, where she serves as lead provider and carries out injectables and other aesthetic treatments. Alongside that work, she is a nurse practitioner in the Orthopedic Department at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she prepares patients for surgery. She has been a registered nurse since 2004 and holds DNP and FNP-BC credentials.
Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Nursing. She trained as a Family Nurse Practitioner after eight years in practice and finished her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2023. Her neurotoxin and dermal filler training came through Aesthetic Medical Education Training, and she also completed advanced neurotoxin training at Boston College with the LexRx team.
