Dr. Steven Dayan

Dr. Steven Dayan is a facial plastic surgeon at Impressions Face + Body in Chicago. He holds an MD and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He earned his MD at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he also completed a surgery internship and a residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery, serving as chief resident. He then trained in a facial plastic surgery fellowship at Indiana University in Indianapolis under Stephen W. Perkins, M.D. He also holds a B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis.

His academic and teaching career began in 1998, when he was an instructor of clinical otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at Indiana University Medical School. He has been a Clinical Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Illinois since 1999, and has served as Fellowship Director of its Division of Facial Plastic Surgery since 2018. Since spring 2010 he has taught as an adjunct professor at DePaul University, where he teaches The Science of Beauty. He is also the U.S. Medical Director and a board member of MedSpa Partners, a role he has held since 2022.

Beyond the clinic, he founded and leads DeNova Research, a clinical research company, and True University, an education academy for professional skin care. He also founded the Enhance Educational Foundation, a nonprofit, where he serves as president and executive director. With Dr. Sabrina Fabi he co-leads Thriving in Aesthetics, an education platform for physicians. His Preceptorship program lets physicians observe in-office procedures such as Botox, Restylane, laser treatments, peels and laser hair reduction.

His surgical work centers on facelifts, including the Quiet Lift method he developed, which he describes as using minimal incisions with the aim of faster recovery. He also performs rhinoplasty, buccal fat removal and the Face BBL. The site states that rhinoplasty by him has been performed on over 3,500 patients.
