About
Dr. Steve Sawyer serves as physician and director of Shadow Medical Group. Following a 1987 graduation from Hampton University in Virginia, he spent two decades as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army. He holds two master's degrees, one in business and one in human resources, both from Webster University, and earned his medical degree from the University of Texas in 2001. His emergency medicine training took place at New York Medical College and Harlem Hospital. He still works as an independent emergency medicine physician at centers in Georgia and Florida. In 2014 he founded Shadow Medical Group.
