Dr. Stephen R. Kay

Dr. Stephen R. Kay is a board certified plastic surgeon in Chevy Chase, Maryland, with more than 25 years of cosmetic plastic surgery practice and thousands of procedures over his career. He is recognized as a leader in breast augmentation, and his work also covers facial rejuvenation and breast and body contouring. After graduating from Cornell University Medical College, he did general surgery training at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center and at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, both in Manhattan. His plastic surgery residency was at the University of Miami, followed by a facial plastic surgery fellowship with Dr. Paul Tessier in Paris, France. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has privileges at Sibley Memorial Hospital, Suburban Hospital and The Surgery Center of Chevy Chase. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a past president of The National Capital Society of Plastic Surgeons, serves as a surgeon volunteer with Rebuilding America's Warriors, and has lectured, written articles and contributed to books on cosmetic plastic surgery. Castle Connolly lists him as a Top Doctor, and he has been featured in US News and World Report's list of Maryland's Best Plastic Surgeons, the Washingtonian's list of Top Plastic Surgeons and Bethesda Magazine's list of Top Plastic Surgeons.
