Dr. Stella Villacorta

Dr. Stella Villacorta is a board certified internal medicine physician who serves as the concierge primary care physician at Galt Dermatology & Concierge Medicine, where she started the concierge primary care practice. Her patients are women and men alike. She earned her medical degree from Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine and finished her internal medicine residency in 2018 at Broward Health Medical Center, a level 1 trauma facility. That program combined outpatient primary care with time in the intensive care unit. Her undergraduate honors degrees in Biology and Psychology come from Loyola University Chicago, and she has also completed nutrition training through Stanford University. Clinically, she addresses health concerns specific to women, long-term management of chronic illness, weight, preventive care, and detecting cancer early. She treats sudden problems such as infections and new symptoms, and ongoing conditions including hypertension, elevated cholesterol, diabetes, thyroid disorders, and oversight of medications. Her background includes outpatient primary care in conventional clinics as well as telehealth visits. She keeps her patient panel small so each patient receives focused attention, and she aims for continuing relationships in which she follows a patient's health over time. She is pursuing additional training in hormone balance, longevity, and nutrition to bring into the practice.
