Dr. Stan Castor is a board-certified plastic surgeon who leads Artisan Aesthetics Plastic Surgery in Tampa, Florida. He holds an MD and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has over 20 years of surgical experience. He has been in private practice for more than 25 years, beginning in 1999 at the Watson Clinic and Lakeland Surgical and Diagnostic Center. His training runs from Florida Southern College, where he graduated cum laude, through the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, a five-year general surgery residency at Emory University in Atlanta, two years of plastic and reconstructive surgery training at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, and a cosmetic surgery fellowship in Miami with Drs. Baker and Stuzin. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. His practice centers on cosmetic breast, body and facial procedures, including breast augmentation, Brazilian butt lift, tummy tuck, liposuction, Smart Lipo, VASER, mommy makeover and gynecomastia surgery. He also performs rhinoplasty using closed and open approaches. His patients include people whose careers depend on their looks, such as fitness competitors, models and actors, as well as stay-at-home parents and professionals seeking to restore their confidence. He welcomes patients from Tampa Bay and the surrounding areas of Florida. Initial consultations often last more than an hour and walk through the operation itself, recovery and how results are kept over time. He personally selects the instruments for every operation, and since he takes no emergency hospital calls, he stays available for his own patients. For rhinoplasty, he builds a plan around the result a patient wants, their face shape and any ethnic traits they wish to keep, and he provides aftercare instructions and a follow-up appointment. He was named a Top Doctor 2023 by FL TopDocs and received the Most Compassionate Doctor award from Vitals. He has also been named among America's Top Plastic Surgeons by the Consumers Research Council of America in multiple years, has received Patients' Choice Awards in several years, and has been named among the 10 Best Plastic Surgeons in Florida across multiple years.
