Dr. Son Nguyen

Dr. Son Nguyen is a cosmetic dermatologist and surgeon and the founder of Stone Mountain Skin Health Center. He has practiced cosmetic dermatology and surgery in Atlanta since 2008. He has also worked as a researcher and primary care physician. He holds national and international certification as a primary care and cosmetic dermatology physician, as well as certification as a general, cosmetic and trauma surgeon. He is a board certified surgeon and physician, and a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist. He is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. His cosmetic practice spans lasers, neuromodulators, fillers, topical cosmeceuticals, chemical peels, skin rejuvenation, fat transfer, SmartLipo and body contouring. He also treats moderate to severe facial aging, trauma and emerging skin conditions, and works with a broad range of skin care concerns. Laser resurfacing is performed at the center's spa locations. He introduced the Combined TCA-Deep Peel with Fractional CO2 Skin Resurfacing. He also introduced SmartLipo, a laser-assisted liposuction, during his time in Vietnam. He performs implant-free fat transfer for breast augmentation, with or without Brava, along with breast lifts, breast augmentation and breast reduction. He worked with Dr. Zein E. Obagi to develop and expand Obagi skin treatment concepts and skin care lines, including ZO and Obagi Condition & Enhance. He helped establish the Vietnam ZO Skin Health Center, where he serves as medical director and teaches cosmetic dermatology in Ho Chi Minh City.
