Dr Shonna Christian

Dr Shonna Christian is a naturopathic doctor (NMD) and naturopath. She has been in private practice for over a decade. Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology with a chemistry minor and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, both from Northern Arizona University; she completed the science degree in 2006. She has also pursued a Master's in Health Psychology, with a focus on hypnosis for pain management. Clinical training includes a family practice preceptorship with Partners in Healthcare Naturally, plus Advanced Injector and Medical Director training from the National Laser Institute. Her practice areas cover weight loss supported by nutritional counseling, digestive complaints, diabetes prevention and management, women's health, hormone imbalances, insomnia, and natural approaches to pain relief. For sex hormone concerns she uses a dried urine test, and the results can point toward lifestyle changes, bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, or botanical and supplemental support. She also runs a simple urine and saliva neurotransmitter test to shape a plan for correcting imbalances. She is licensed to administer BOTOX and Juvéderm injections. For menopausal symptoms, she offers a customized coaching program. Her primary goal is helping patients feel their best.
